I don’t want my daughter to be an adult prematurely, like, for instance, Suri Cruise. Suri is growing up too quickly as we notice according to journals. She is only four years old but she already tests out makeup, choosing her favorite lipstick. “We shall do everything at the proper time”, - my Mom used to say. And I think she was right. Kids must be kids and nobody else. Having spent some time online, I found a marvelous mug with my daughter’s name ‘Lillian’ on it. That was a real gift! In addition, I thought it would be great if I stick my Lillian photo on this mug. I decided to pick up the photo that she liked best of all and put it on the mug. Nobody should know about my plans. At night when everybody was in their beds and had s sound sleep, I cut out Lillian photo and stuck it on the mug. Even my husband learnt nothing about my secret.

The next day was Sunday – it was Lillian’s birthday – my family was at table and I started my speech. Suddenly my youngest Dillon jumped out of the chair and cried, - “She is pinching me!” It needed time to come down all the children. I took out the precious personalized mug out of my bag and put it on the table. All stood motionless. Lillian was looking at the mug with photo on it and couldn’t say a word. Then was a storm of applause. Kids wanted to touch the mug, read the sign and drink something from it. I was happy – my personalized gift surprised every child and Lillian was very excited. You never know what will be a miracle for children but today I have realized that I made the right choice.
